IMG_0640.jpg - The fish is a "Mirror Carp" it weighed 26 lbs, and was caught on a size 14 barbless hook using pork luncheon meat as a hair rigged bait. It was caught on the Grand Union Canal at Linslade, Bedfordshire on Sunday 1st May 2011 in very windy conditions ( hence the hair do) in about 3ft of water. It took him 15 to 20 minutes to land it. He was float fishing overdepth.
