In Aitutaki, Cook Islands in the South Pacific, throwing out something that moves might catch you anything that swims, including a great big needlefish. There have been several documented deaths from these surface feeders as they swim very fast and jump out of the water a lot - people have died from their sharp beak penetrating necks, eyes, brains . . . makes a musky seem tame.
