Bob has been an integral part of the HLS and TFC Team and the day to day activity at the shop.

At 83 years of age, aside from his afternoon naps in the back-room, he certainly doesn’t show his age. ;-)
He has travelled and fished most corners of the world from Hawaii to Alaska for any fish species one could imagine.
Bob arrives punctually with his jovial demeanure and with his wealth of knowledge, from Fly Fishing and Tying, to the answering of questions on the HLS side – He assists in any fashion necessary to ensure the store succeeds.

Without Bob, I would not be able to provide the high level of service on a daily basis.
For those who frequent the shop, you will know him as Bob “The Knot Tyer” Tupling. There isn’t a knot that he can’t teach you!
He is truly a godsend, and I can only hope that one day I can be as “giving” a friend as he has been to me.
I’m still trying to teach him to work the cash register, but he refuses because then he knows I can call in “sick” and go fishing without him ! ( He’s a smart man! )
He’s like a father … a brother ( much older ) … a TRUE friend.
