Chris Day
Chris is originally from Newfoundland and grew up targeting the waters around Clarenville for Atlantic Salmon, Sea run Brook Trout and Brook Trout.
He has been fly fishing and fly tying for 28 years and enjoys it as much today as when he first started.
He has done fly tying demos for The Franklin Club, Glen Haffy Fly fishing Club, Pine Ridge Fly fishing Club, Winter Hactches Fly fishing Club and The Izaak Walton Fly Fishers Club.
Chris has taught classes at the Winter Hatches Fly Tying Symposium and been part of the Showcase of Fly Tyers at the Izaak Walton Forum.
In 2010 Chris was presented with the Jack Sutton Fly Tyer of the year award by the Izaak Walton Fly Fishers Club.
For the last 5 years Chris has been experimenting with tube flies. Chris, has used most of the tube fly systems on the market and has tied flies with them for bass, trout and salmon.
