Learn to Fly Fish Lessons / Instruction
LTFF ( Learn to Fly Fish Lessons ) are available through our shop in Guelph Ontario. Our lessons occur nearby on the Grand River, Ontario’s finest Brown Trout Fishery.
We are a leader in Fly Fishing instruction / lessons and guiding in the immediate and surrounding area. Our instructors / guides will deliver a structured program that will get you fly fishing quickly and you will have every chance of catching a brown trout even on your first time!
“Many people have been intimidated by fly-fishing or rather by fly fishermen. The First Cast’s vision is to guide and teach people how to Fly Fish without the arrogance too often associated with our sport. Your day is about you and nature not about us.”
Perhaps you have been fly fishing for a while and not catching those trophy Brown Trout consistently. You will gain much from the INTERMEDIATE or ADVANCED COURSE, where our instructor will discuss and observe your skills and make adjustments or recomendations as necessary.
Whether you want to learn to master the nymph, dry fly or streamer, or concentrate on mending, our instructors will guide you through the process in a way that you will participate and understand those principles while you practice them.
Our Customer Gallery will speak for itself. We have clients from all over Canada as well as the United States who use our services on a regular basis. Click here to see our gallery.
Aside from the Upper Grand and Credit Rivers, the other Ontario Rivers that we frequent include: the Lower Grand River, the Bighead River, the Saugeen River, the Nottawasaga River, the Maitland River, the Lower Credit River, the Niagara River and a few other less known lakes and streams.
