Blood Run Tackle Co. – Blood Run Monofilament:

True floating mono with custom line conditioners mixed with nylon resins to create the perfect line for drift and float fishing.

Our floating mono has excellent knot strength, and will not absorb water or Ultra Violet rays which will impact traditional monofilament fishing lines.

Available in a variety of colors for different visibility conditions for both the fisherman to mend long drifts, as well as for low light conditions.

All colours of our float mainline also have anti-freezing compounds mixed in with our resins, to provide exceptional performance in below freezing conditions.

These compounds were tested extensively during winter in sub freezing temperatures and provided zero coil performance even off spinning reels.

Super abrasion resistant for snagging trees, bushes, rocks and logs….this is one tough float line designed for hardcore steel and kingheads!

Blood Run Tackle is leading the way in tactic-specific monofilament mainlines for float fishing Steelhead & Salmon.

Natural floating properties combined with internally mixed line conditioners, softeners and abrasion resistant resins during the extrusion process.

Blood Run Tackle Floating Mono mainline is designed to be matched with equal or smaller breaking strength fluorocarbon leader from Blood Run Tackle only.

Comparable fluorocarbon leaders would be from Sunline or Rio, Drennan and Seaguar SST are NOT a suitable fluorocarbon leader due to higher than published breaking strengths.

200 yard spools of both hi vis and low vis color combinations, designed to spool up most 4-5″ centerpin reels (with Bloodline Braid backing) or straight fill spinning and baitcasting reels.

Please spool centerpin reels “bottom to bottom” from the line spool to the reel. Standard spooling techniques should be used for baitcasting and spinning reels.

10lb test is .26mm/.010″. Colours available Ocean Blue, Flame, Hi Vis Yellow, Clear, Natural Green.

15lb test is .33mm/.013″. Colours available Clear, Natural Green, Hi Vis Yellow.

In addition, the super soft fluorocarbon leader is designed to allow for float presentations to naturally roll in currents and off bottom structure, rather than “popping” off structure as a typical “stiff” feeling fluorocarbon leader would do.
