Blood Run Tackle Floating 10lb Mono Centerpin Mainline

Our 10lb Floating Mono is specifically designed for float fishing small species such as stocked rainbows, snook, sea trout and other non-pelagic species.

True floating mono with custom line conditioners mixed with nylon resins to create the perfect line for drift and float fishing applications.

Our floating mono has excellent knot strength, and will not absorb water or Ultra Violet rays which will impact traditional monofilament fishing lines.

Available in BOTH 10lb & 15lb, and in a variety of colours for different visibility conditions for both the fisherman to mend long drifts, as well as for low light conditions.

Super slippery and abrasion resistant for ease of sliding shot patterns and standing up to snagging trees, bushes, rocks and logs….this is one tough float line designed for hardcore float fishermen.

* CAUTION* The Blood Run Tackle Floating 10lb Mono Centerpin Mainline can only be fished with any leader that is .008″ diameter or LESS.  

Check the diameter of your fluorocarbon leader in 6lb test if it is NOT Blood Run Tackle Leader, to determine if the leader is actually a 6lb leader or grossly understated on the label.  

If your “other brand” leader is .009″ diameter or larger, then it’s true breaking strength is getting far too close to 10lbs, which would preclude it from being fished under this 10LB mainline.  

The 10lb line is also NOT INTENDED for fishing lake run salmon or steelhead unless done so by after clearly understanding the statement above about line diameters and breaking strengths.  

Please instead use 15lb Floating Mono mainline from Blood Run Tackle for fishing Lake Run Steelhead and Salmon, which is very close in diameter to most other brands “10lb” mono mainline and can be fished with a variety of different sized leaders and shot lines from a variety of different manufacturers.
